## Cross-Border Prescription Recognition

Under EU Directive 2011/24/EU, prescriptions issued in one EU member state are recognised and valid for fulfilment in another, provided specific clinical details are present.

### Required Criteria for Irish Fulfilment

To process a script from a Spanish, Greek, or other EU clinic, the following must be clearly stated: Patient details, Prescriber's professional qualifications, direct contact details, and the INN (common name) of the medication.
