### Procedural Steps

1. **Site Selection:** Typically the lower abdomen, at least 2 inches away from the navel.
1. **Preparation:** Thorough handwashing and alcohol swabbing of the injection site.
1. **The Injection:** Pinch the skin, insert the needle at a 90-degree angle, and slow delivery of the medication.
